Maintenance Engineers (Shifts - NW)

Excellent opportunity for Electrical, Mechatronic or Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a major player in the FMCG manufacturing sector.      We are currently sourcing for Maintenance Engineers, working 12 hour shifts across days and nights to support our client's 4 manufacturing plants.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • 12 Hour Shift support to the 4 manufacturing plants
  • Detailed planned maintenance work to be carried out in all plants in line with PPM schedules
  • Carry out reactive repairs to keep the plants fully operational
  • Carry out fault finding methods to ensure root causes are found and resolved
  • Drive to improve reliability figures across the site
  • Controlled Shutdown and Start-up of equipment
  • Be actively involved in new installations installation, commissioning and ramp up
  • Booking out of spare items from stock
  • To be part of the site energy reduction team reducing our CO2
  • To support the other functions onsite Quality and Operations
  • To carry out PTW and LOTOTO for safe methods of work
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ideally 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Time served apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechatronic or Electrical Maintenance discipline
  • Food Safety a preference but not essential
  • Mechanical or Electrical knowledge (Dual Skilled preferable)
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls
