PLC Software & Automation Engineer (Mid Ulster)

We are looking to recruit an experienced PLC Software/Automation Engineer for our client who has consistently grown and built a strong reputation within the control/automation business.  As an organisation they are involved across a wide range of sectors in factory and industrial installations.
 
This is a senior position and will be fully responsible for full PLC programming, systems design, specification, testing and start-up assistance on all control and automation projects throughout UK and Ireland with occasional trips to Europe.
 

The Person

The successful candidate will have:
  • A 3rd Level education in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or qualified by significant experience in similar role, at least 5 years
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and/or troubleshooting with a range of equipment from Schneider, Allen Bradley, Siemens and other automation programs  
  • Experience working on Software and Hardware projects within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Willing to travel to various sites across UK and Ireland, with occasional European travel.
