Manufacturing Engineer - Co. Down
Our longstanding Client, one of Northern Ireland's largest aerospace manufacturing companies, is currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer. We have had a very successful previous relationship with over 20 years' experience representing them, right from Engineering based roles through to Management & Director Level.

Working as a member of a close knit team, the Manufacturing Engineer will be working with the Design and Manufacturing departments to ensure a manufacturing solution is delivered which meets and exceeds cost, quality and schedule requirements.
The role is heavily based on taking a modern and logical approach to solving day to day issues on the manufacturing line as well as developing, testing and implementing new production processes. You will be responsible for driving improvement in quality, cost, cycle times and overall efficiency.
We are looking for motivated Engineers with a passion for the industry that meet the following criteria:
- Batchelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline & 2+ year's relevant experience.
- HND/HNC in an appropriate discipline & 3+ year's relevant experience.
- Basic Engineering Qualification & 5+ year's relevant experience.
- Experience in the core principles of Lean Manufacturing and how to apply them.
- Proficient in CAD systems.
- Experience working within the Aerospace industry and all of the relevant documentation & procedures.
- Experience of N.P.I.
- Working knowledge within a Manufacturing Assembly Environment.
Salary: There is an attractive salary package on offer which will be pitched at a level to attract good candidates.
Hours: 37.5 per Week (Days)
