I was recruited by Sean Metrustry alongside other engineers as Automation specialists for CocaCola. I found them to be very professional throughout the process and well informed and hence can see why Coca Cola used their recruitment services
Martin Mc Neill Controls/ Project Engineer
I dealt with Jack regarding a job I was applying for. I found Jack to be extremely professional, approachable and dedicated to his job with TechMet. He paid great attention to detail when dealing with my application and kept me very well informed of how it was progressing. Dealing with Jack was a pleasure, coming from a technical background himself he demonstrated a great understanding of my requirements to match me to the right job

When I was looking to relocate my family from Italy to Ireland, for a role within the specialised field of composites engineering, Sean Metrustry was the head-hunter tasked with the move. He was able to; (1) understand that I was serious about the position and relocation; (2) Technically understand my experience within composites; (3) Give me the confidence to travel from Italy to the UK for the interview. In all, this was a successful experience for the company and for myself, so I have to say he had the right skills, knowledge and intuition in his role as a technical recruiter.
Paolo Ballocchi Senior Project Engineer, Composite Specialist in the Strategic Technologies

Having studied my engineering masters at QUB with Michael Neill from TechMet, I had full confidence and trust in him representing me. Today I consider him one of the most knowledgeable and genuine engineering recruitment consultants in the industry. His engineering background and technical understanding, of mechanical and design engineering in particular, is unrivalled within the Northern Irish recruitment market. The majority of peers we studied with in Queen’s continually use Michael as the main point of contact when confidentially discussing career advancement opportunities.
Aaron Kirkpatrick Mechanical Design Engineer
at Camlin Technologies
Recruited me into an Operations Management role for Coca Cola 2006. He was dealing with all Operations Management recruitment for Coke in Northern Ireland at the time when a large number of managers were required for the opening of a new site.
At all times he acted with integrity and delivered on all promises made. Often exceeding my expectations with regard to contact and support.
I cannot recommend enough, and would be more than happy to use his services again in the future
Sean Bingham MCMI European Co Packaging Manager

Upon the announced closure of JTI Gallaher in Ballymena in 2015, myself and engineering colleagues were presented with the daunting task of going back out into the market to consider opportunities. After discussion amongst my fellow Engineers, the company that many of us felt the most relevant to talk to in terms employment opportunites was TechMet. Further to making enquiries and a face to face meeting, I was presented with opportunities’ and advice on the market. I subsequently was offered and started a permanent role with Dale Farm in Ballymena as a Maintenance Engineer. My experience with TechMet was excellent and I would highly recommend them to Engineers looking for a proper insight into opportunities here in N Ireland. I found Techmet in comparison to other employment agencies not to be pushy, and due to their insight into the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors in Northern Ireland they are able to provide an excellent platform for anyone seeking advice.
Aidan Fusco Maintenance Shift Engineer
In September 2013 while employed as a Structural Systems Design Engineer in Rolls Royce in UK I was always interested in considering my options and returning home to N Ireland for the right role. Having spoken to a number of agencies and my peers I found TechMet to be very well informed. They met up with me when I was back at one stage during a vacation and subsequently later on they were the company that secured me a new role. I would strongly recommend them as an excellent organisation and particularly for engineers who want to be sure that they are flying over to attend a worthwhile interview process. I have therefore been very pleased both with the service from TechMet and the opportunities’ I have subsequently received within BE Aerospace
Michael McCauley CEng MIMechE

For more than 12 years I have had dealings with Sean Metrustry from TechMet, both here with Schrader Electronics and through Solectron and SmTec. From dealing with Sean I have found Sean to be both very well connected and knowledgeable in the engineering sector here in N. Ireland. His level of honesty and professionalism is a league above others in his industry and if I was to recommend a company to deal with engineering or managerial appointments, it certainly would be TechMet
David Agnew Senior Development Engineer
at Schrader Electronics
Michael Neill and I met in Lisburn for an interview to discuss a potential job opportunity that I was interested in. Michael’s personal background in manufacturing engineering was very helpful in the process preparing me with questioning techniques and eventually secured my new position with a highly reputable manufacturing firm that suited my background perfectly. I would highly recommend Michael and TechMet when considering a career move
